For its upcoming facility in Bangalore, India, KPMG was looking at an integrated meeting room booking system. The key requirement was to allow booking by all users, integration with active directory and real time display on screens mounted outside meeting and conference rooms.
THE SOLUTIONS
Built on the signage platform, the solution delivered provided an interactive interface to the users. Viewsonic Windows 7 Tablets were used for displays. To overcome the uncertainty with wifi signals, special convertors were used to connect the tablet to the wired network.
BENEFIT
Users are able to book meeting rooms from a single unified web based interface right from their desk. Real time displays guide the users to the right room. The interactive menu shows the schedule, saving time in finding meeting rooms.
